So, what do you buy for the cyclist with everything? For the sake of practicality, the key is to find items that said cyclist will eventually need more of. On the other hand, you can always buy the goofy gag gift that will probably be tossed eventually anyway... Being a proponent of practicality, gifts falling into this category will be covered here.
- Tubes or Tubeless Tire Sealant- If the cyclist in your life logs serious miles, one of these are a must, depending on what tire inflation system they prefer. For sealant try Orange Seal. This product has quickly become a favorite at our shop!
- Nutrition Supplements- By definition these are meant to be consumed. Energy gels, electrolyte drinks, and protein supplements are all great examples. Our favorite supplement brand remains Hammer Nutrition.
- Chain Lube- A must have for any cyclist; performance depends on this! For clarity, please check out the educational music video "Performance" by MC Spandex.
- Chamois Cream- This particular product is one that spends very little time in the spotlight. Possibly, this is due to its function; lubricating the undercarriage of the cyclist him/herself.
- Socks- Cyclists love socks. Try socks reflective of the weather, as in thermal for winter.
