Scott's Cycle and Sports is bringing back the Tour De France Sale. This year Tour is anticipated to be one of the most exciting in decades. With no clear favorite but a so called "Fab Four"of contenders containing Alberto Contador, Chris Froome, Nairo Quintana and last year defending champion Vincenzo Nibali. If Nibali defends his title and if you don't count Lance Armstong which you should definitely not it has been twenty years since any rider has been able to achieve the back to back double. The last time was in 1995 with legendary Spanish rider Miguel Indurain. This years course may favor Nabli with punchy climbs, lack of time trails and a northern start featuring cobbled roads that could take potential rivals out. In 2015 the Sicilian rider Nibali could use the course to his advantage. In the mean time Chris Froome has just won the Criterium Du Dauphine which by most critics is the biggest predictor of form for the Tour De France. Froome is dangerous because of his all round skills experiance as a Tour winner and unconventional peddling style that climbs with the best and also hangs high in the time trails. Also controversial rider Alberto Contador this generations best GC rider and Giro winner is attempting to win the Giro and Tour in the same year a feet that has not been done since the late Marco Pantani in 1998. The Tour de France-Giro d' Italia win within the same year is regulated to the judgement of the toughest riders in professional bike racing history meaning he will be held up to the likes of Eddy Mercx and put in same sentence as the great Italian rider Fausto Coppi if such a feat is accomplished. Fans can only anticipate the reaction as Contadors past doping convictions hang in the rafters. And to add to the mix the formidable and not to be overlooked the 2014 Giro winner Colombian Nario Quintana. The climbing specailist Nario has taken another strategy. Quintana seems to be confident to train in his home terrain the Andes Mountains, stay fresh and use the Tour de Swiss as a warm up for the Tour de France. Quintana did not seem worried when Contador took the queen stage of the Tour de Swiss only on the last decent and seemed very confident to show his hand leading into the Tour.
