Weekly Round Up

The new year has begun and plans are coming to fruition, cycling race and event dates/schedules are being released and as usual the cycling industry is coming out with new gear that Scott's Cycle and Sports is testing and stocking the shelves with.  This is also a great time year to do some maintenance and we are ready with new tools and products to improve your ride.  So here it is the weekly round for January week 3. 
First is a look back Giant Bicycles Posted this a couple weeks ago.  It just makes us feel good and motivated to keep it going. Just a collection of cycling photos set to music


The NW is probably the best place to find a cycling event in the country with something for everyone practically every weekend and usually some tough choices between competing events.  The 2015 Ride Guide, Tour Guide and Race Guide from the folks at Bicycle Paper will be out soon but in the mean time Walla Walla dirt rider Becky Wilson made up this calender list of off road events. 
This time of year is a great time to service your bike.  Replace you cables and housing service bearings and upgrade parts.  We have been keeping up with the latest tools and products to help you improve your ride here are some of the highlights.

This tool was featured on Velonews as one of the best new products and has made a lot of bicycle mechanics lives just a little easier.  Basically it makes routing internal frame cables a simple task. As basically every new carbon frame road or mountain is using some sort of sleek routing design this will be a heavily used item at the shop.

2015 is going to be a great year for cycling. January is a perfect time to plan and prepare for the upcoming season Raleigh Bicycles posted a simple reminder of easy ways to make 2015 the best year yet.
